National Wildlife Federation
Wildlife Report
Like many organizations, the National Wildlife Federation usually creates a print annual report to show supporters what they accomplished in the previous year. In 2015, they decided that adding an annual report website would help reach more Americans.

The website opens with a full-width splash area to entice users and create a full browser experience. As the user scrolls down, this slowly fades into the first of 15 “wins” in 2015.

Each of the 15 panels takes the full width and height of the user’s browser, creating a pleasant and immersive reading experience. This allows the stunning photography to tell a story and entice readers to take action on each.

The website went above and beyond the client’s expectations. The organization was so thrilled with how this report informs and engages users that other sectors of the organization have asked us to put their reports into this new format. So far, we have applied this foundational wordpress setup to the organizaiton’s gulf report, public lands report, and more. I worked on this project at openbox9.
